Microsoft is offering a free 90 day trial of Windows 7 Enterprise to try in your business. If you didn’t get a change to download the release candidate, this is the final version of Windows 7 being released on October 22. It’s a great way to try it out, there is one hitch, it cannot be activated so after 90 days you have to wipe the pc and install the release version of Windows 7 or something else. Ballmer had some interesting things to say during his analyst presentation today. Techradar has some of the more interesting comments. My favorite is:

Microsoft released Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 to manufacturing. OEMs, VARS, and Volume license users should be able to download them in the coming weeks. The full retail release is still scheduled for October 22nd. Read more about it at engadget and the SuperSite Blog.
