I’m not sure if this is good or bad, but Microsoft is actually adding new features to Dexterity in the upcoming GP 2010 R2 release. In my opinion, they should be spending time improving the .NET Toolkit for Dynamics GP, not messing around with Dexterity. I guess the rumors about Microsoft redesigning Dynamics GP using Silverlight are just that – rumors. For what it’s worth, here are the key new features:
- An enhanced Names window for selecting dictionary resources.
- Fixing the Table Buffers window and adding a Dictionary selection to the window.
- A number of undocumented Table Index related functions are now documented.
- Support for using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code control.
