Dynamics GP 12 to have support for Apple Macs

Friday, April 1st, 2011

Apple fanboys rejoice! Dynamics GP 12 will once again be supported on the Apple Mac. Wait a minute! What do you mean “once again”? Believe it or not, when Microsoft Dynamics GP (then called Great Plains Software Dynamics) was first released, it was available for both the Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh platforms. The Macintosh platform was supported up until version 6.00! The circle is now complete, and people will once again be able to run Dynamics GP on their Macs.

Alright, I need to fess up. This is an April Fool’s joke. Dynamics GP 12 will not be available for Macs. Although technically you could run Dynamics GP if you were connected to a Windows machine via a remote desktop application.
